He started his career in the UK, launching a VFX and motion design business within a popular Post production house in London. Moving to Toronto in 2017 he progressed as a compositing supervisor and then Visual Effects Supervisor. Co-founding Vitamin VFX in 2022, Adam applies his varied and rounded expertise, as well as passion as Creative Head and visual effects supervisor.

Meet Mau Cuencas, our Associate Executive Producer here at Vitamin VFX. His passion for film and VFX started early when he watched Jurassic Park in the theatre, leaving with such an awe of the quality of the visual effects and the power of the story. This experience led him to embark on a journey that went through studying Film at University in Brazil, taking an MBA in Business and finally joining the industry in the production side onThe Lion King.
With 4 years of experience on helping productions run smooth and numeral projects (The Creator, Goosebumps, Rebecca, The Old Guard, Ant-Man Quantumania) under his belt, Mau is ready to support our clients achieve what they have envisioned for the projects.

His widespread experience on FX in feature films like Disney – Planes: Fire & Rescue, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania – MARVEL movie and series like Vikings: Valhalla, Raised by Wolves, Apex Legends – The game trailer has given that extra edge in his career roadmap.
Rakesh mastered multiple skills in FX, in almost all the Departments including simulating, CFX, Crowd, and Groom, and his skill set extends to compositing, color correction, layering, and understanding digital environments and color space. His all-around experience in the VFX Industry in highly demanding projects under collaborative environments has given him the flair to handle challenges at work.
